Guys, please read the section on Symbols and then you will read and analyze the following poems: William Blake's "The Tyger," Adrienne Rich's "Aunt Jennifer's Tigers," William Butler Yeats "Sailing to Byzantium" and William Blake's "A Poison Tree." In these poems, you will analyze all symbols, then you will pick a central symbol and explain the effect it provides to the overall message of the poem. You need to post your answers here as a word document, or send them to my e-mail. Title the document "Symbols" followed by your name, for example: "Symbols Luis".
